To Kill a Mockingbird Audiobook
Using elements from both the live-action movie and the book, I created what I imagined a CD audiobook set could look like. The dusty town of Maycomb, Alabama inspired the color-pallet; the illustrations on the CD albums are the items that Boo Radley puts in the tree for Jem and Scout; the CDs’ spines together create a mockingbird; and the back of the cover is one of my absolute favorite moments in both the movie and book, where Atticus sits, guarding the innocent Tom from a mob of white farmers.
The cover with Jem, Dill, and Scout, the three main children in the novel. "Performed by Sissy Spacek" was intentional as she reads the audiobook in real life. She does a fantastic job.
As mentioned above, my favorite scene. Atticus guards the jail with his chair, lamp, and book.
Each cover has a quote on it from that section of the book, based on where it might be if it were actually divided into CDs. I did actual math for this part, everyone.

Ukulele Package Design
What can I say, I like package design? Despite never having worked in Adobe Dimensions before, I think it turned out pretty well. I actually went to a local music shop and got a ukulele box so that I could take it apart and figure out the layout of my design.

Firewhisky
If the name is familiar, you’re probably a Harry Potter fan. The idea behind this design is that a real whiskey company (Jack Daniel’s) is releasing a limited edition whiskey based on this fictional one.
The front of the bottle. A Phoenix as the mascot felt appropriate for a magical fire-themed drink.
The back has a quote from the second Harry Potter novel (the first to name the drink), as well as a potential description for that little immersive detail.

60 Seconds
Group project time! We created a family friendly “Minute to Win It” themed board game. The drawers hold cards and game pieces, while the board itself is under the lid. We wanted a compact and yet well-stocked family game.

Within Reason
A design based on the senior paper I wrote in high school on whether or not animal have emotions. In the paper, I talked about the evidence for emotions in elephants, dogs, and orcas. Using those animals, plus one, I created designs with inspiration from cultures: India for the elephant, Northwest Coastal American-Indian tribes for the orca, Africa for the gorilla,
and something I made up for the dog.

Music, They Call Me
Another of my favorite projects. Tasked this time with making a magazine catalogue, I focused on music, with a secondary focus on the community it can foster. The models are a friend, my brother, and his girlfriend. Most of the instruments below are my own!
The songs featured in the magazine are as follows: “Something Beautiful” by Newsboys; an original; “Garden” by NEEDTOBREATHE; “All I Need” by Switchfoot; “King and Lionheart” by Of Monsters and Men; “Angel at my Door” by NEEDTOBREATHE; “Music, They Call Me” by The Gray Havens.
